Retreat Agenda

Preliminary agenda, please check often for updates

Retreat Day One: Thursday, August 18
Orientation, Potluck Dinner & Medihealing by the Campfire

We begin the Sequoia Retreat with a relaxed & enriching evening with Mas and the group.

After checking into your chosen lodging (either the Wuksachi Lodge or Dorst Creek Campground), please gather at Lodgepole for orientation around 6pm. Please bring a dish for a fun potluck with the group.

Then sit around a campfire & chat with Mas after a hearty meal. Your first night ends with a powerful medihealing designed to cleanse you of any negative energy you may have brought in from the outside world, empowering you to fully unplug and embrace the magical days to come.

Retreat Day Two: Friday, August 19
Giant Forest Hike & Sunset Rock Medihealing

On Friday Mas will connect you with the timeless energy of this virgin woodland paradise and complete the day with a sunset medihealing.

We begin our morning deep in the Giant Forest, where we will hike to the world's largest living organism, the General Sherman Tree, and make our way through several pristine meadows where we will likely see some of the beautiful and harmless black bears native to the region. As we go further into forest we step off the trail and join Mas for a special silent meditation surrounded by towering giant sequoias. He will tap into the ancient frequencies of these trees and channel them into you, allowing the pure vibrations of their thousands of years of existence to wash over you and give you a deeper understanding of this new world.

As the day begins to wane, we meet and do another relaxed hike to Sunset Rock - the most beautiful overlook in Sequoia National Park. After we reach the summit, you will watch an unforgettable sunset as Mas conducts a powerful meditation and hands-on healing.

Retreat Day Three: Saturday, August 20
Crystal Cave of Christ Energy, A Talk on Transcendence & Medihealing

Saturday is a once-in-a-lifetime intimate journey to walk along side Mas through a 2000+ year old Crystal Cave believed to be vibrating with Christ energy, followed by a profound session later in the day.

We enter the cave for a private 2-3 hour tour to an isolated subterranean chamber where we can plunge deep into a meditative journey with Mas without any of our senses distracting us from the present. Surrender to Pure Source on a totally different level with this ultimate unplug deep below the earth, and emerge with a whole new appreciation of life and reality.

After a long lunch break, we meet again refreshed and ready for a talk on the wonder of existence, spiritual journey and transcendence, and experience a Medihealing to recharge your spirit with the power of the nature to strengthen you for the journey ahead.

Retreat Day Four: Sunday, August 21
The Power of Water Hike, Healing & Farewell Picnic

The Power of Water is the theme for our Sunday in Sequoia - with a morning hike to Tokopah Falls, a spectacular 1200 foot waterfall near Lodgepole Campground.

Once we arrive at the Falls Mas will harness the amplifying power of the roaring water for one last powerful Medi-Healing designed to lock in all of the frequencies instilled in you over the weekend, ensuring that the transformation experienced this weekend stays with you long after leaving this paradise. We reflect on our journey together with a farewell picnic with Mas.

Note: Please check out of the hotel before the hike.

Important Information

LODGING

Lodging is not included in the retreat price, however we strongly recommend our participants stay at either Wuksachi Lodge or Dorst Creek Campground. Wuksachi Lodge is near all of our activities, and Dorst Creek Campground is a brief half-hour drive north from the Lodge. Reservations should be made as soon as possible, as both of these facilities will sell long before the event date.

1) Wuksachi Lodge - This is the only full service hotel in Sequoia National Park, and is the ideal fit for those guests who want to enjoy the beauty of the wilderness and come home to a luxurious resort experience.  Wireless internet is available in common areas, there is a full-service restaurant in-house, and free morning yoga classes are offered for the duration of your stay.  We have 15 rooms held for our retreat participants which must be reserved individually for the nights of 8/18-8/20, at a price of $235 per night. After those first 15 rooms are sold, we cannot guarantee room availability. Additionally, while you are permitted to bring as many family or friends for the “Fun” part of our event as you wish, please limit your reservation from our reserved room block to one room only, to ensure that as many participating families/groups as possible have an opportunity to get a room. If you must reserve multiple rooms to accommodate your party, please make your secondary reservation as a general room reservation.

To Book at Wuksachi Lodge: Call the main reservation line at 866-807-3598, press 2 to make a new reservation, and tell the registration agent that you are interested in reserving a room for the Mas Sajady Retreat, and give them group code 50E60P to access our group room block.

2) Dorst Creek Campground - This beautiful campground in the heart of Sequoia National Forest features spacious campsites with paved roads and flushing toilet bathrooms (but no electricity or on-site showers). NOTE that this location is approximately 8 miles north of Wuksachi Lodge and all of our events, meaning you should give yourself a minimum 30-40 minutes of travel time to ensure you arrive at our specified meeting point or Wuksachi Lodge or nearby Lodgepole Campground in a timely manner. Travel times will vary with traffic and weather, and carpooling is recommended. Picnic tables, fire rings, and bear food storage containers are provided at each site, along with a trash dump site. Coin-operated showers are available at Lodgepole Village, which is near Wuksachi Lodge and easily accessible before or after our events. Each camp site holds a maximum of 2 tents and 6 people, and can be reserved for $22 per night. These sites are open for August reservation now, so booking as soon as possible through us or independently is strongly advised. Details are below.

To Book at Dorst Creek Campground: We have reserved a block of campsites together at this venue for those interested in camping, and will be distributing them on a first-come, first-serve basis to registered retreat participants (campsites will be shared between participants as needed). The cost of the camp site will be allocated between campsite attendees and remitted to Mas Sajady Inc. via Paypal. If you are interested in camping, please email mats@massajady.com after registering for the retreat, and include the details of how many people and tents you plan to bring and we will see if we can accommodate you in our group camping area.  If we cannot accommodate you and/or you want your own private campsite, call the campsite reservation line at 877-444-6777 to reserve a site.

NOTES FOR CAMPERS: You are responsible for bringing all tents and other camping gear into the park, as there is no gear rental facility once you have entered. We recommend either bringing gear from home or renting/purchasing it in the Fresno area. It will be 70s during the day and 40s/50s at night, so pack sufficient cold clothes and gear. If there is a Level 2 drought warning in effect, fires will not be allowed in camp so it's advisable to bring lanterns and a ceramic propane camping heater to ensure you have a comfortable amount of heat and light for your stay.

FOOD/SUPPLIES

We recommend that you purchase supplies in Fresno and bring them into the Park. Once you enter Sequoia Park, there are two options for food and other items.

1) Lodgepole Market Center  - This is a full service grocery and supply store located in the Lodgepole Camping area.  http://www.visitsequoia.com/lodgepole-market-center.aspx

2) The Peaks Restaurant inside Wuksachi Lodge - This upscale restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Reservations are recommended.  http://www.visitsequoia.com/the-peaks-restaurant.aspx
